Comprised of three members and one alternate member, each appointed by the Board of Supervisors to serve a three year term. Current members are: Sheila Sterrett, Brian Marshall, Mike Kitts, Roger Gregorich (Alternate) |

MEETING PURPOSE: |
|
Hearings are conducted monthly, as needed, to consider applications received for variances or special exceptions to the Zoning Ordinance and deciding whether there is a legitimate reason for granting relief to a specific provision or provisions of the Ordinance when requested. The Board may grant a variance provided that all of the findings as listed within the PMPC, Section 910.2 are found to be relevant in the given case. |

Makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors concerning the following: * Prepare a comprehensive plan. * Prepare a Zoning Ordinance or amendment. * Prepare subdiv. & land dev. ord. & review applications that are subject to it. * Review conditional use request. * Any other study as directed by the Board of Supervisors. |

Monthly meetings are held to conduct the Authority's business as well as to plan future capital improvements, system upgrades, receive public input and to ensure that all federal (U.S. EPA) and state (PA. DEP) clean water regulations are met. |

As an operating authority its O&M Budget is self-funded by user fees and receives no funding from the township government. It is comprised of 12 sewage pump stations and over 65 miles of collector sewers. It is a 24hr / 7day / 365days a year continuous operation. Sewage treatment is provided by the City of Erie Regional Wastewater facility. As of January 1, 2007 there are 3,717 customers of whom 171 are commercial or industrial. Since its inception, it has tripled in the number of customers and facilities it services. |

AG SECURE ADVISORY COMMITTEE |

The Agricultural Security Area Advisory Committee consists of three active farmers, each representing a different private or corporate farm, and one citizen residing within the unit of local government and one member of the governing body of such local government, who shall serve as the chairman of the committee. Current members are: Paul DeAngelo, Tiffany Laboski, John Erickson, Dean Pepicello.

MEETING PURPOSE: |
|
Pursuant to this act the members of such committee shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the chairman of the governing body. The members shall serve without salary, but the governing body may entitle each such member to reimbursement for his actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of his official duties. Such committee shall advise the governing body and work with the planning commission in relation to the proposed establishment, modification, and termination of agricultural security areas. In particular, the committee shall render expert advice relating to the desirability of such action, including advice as to the nature of farming and farm resources within the proposed area and the relation of farming in such area to the local government unit as a whole.
