Yes, the per bag service includes unlimited recycling and leaf pickup. Pickup your free recycling bin at the township.
Waste Management under a municipal waste and recycling contract currently provides trash / recycling collection to residents of Harborcreek Township. Township residents should call Waste Management to start or transfer their trash pickup. The township does not directly pickup residents trash.
Yes, the per bag service includes unlimited recycling and leaf pickup. Pickup your free standard 25 gallon recycling bin at the township. 65 gallon rolling toters are available for purchase.

Any tire retailer will take them for a small fee. Usually a few dollars per tire for car / SUV tires.
They are available for purchase here at the Harborcreek Municipal Building.
We have partnered with Prism Glass Recycling as a drop off location. Glass can be brought to the northeast corner of the municipal garage parking lot behind the municipal building. Visit Prism Glass Recycling for list of acceptable glass items.

Yes. In small manageable sizes. Not a truck load or large branches / trees.
Also, Beginning March 1, 2020, Grass Clippings are NO LONGER being accepted at the Harborcreek Township Compost Facility. The township has no avenue to dispose of grass clippings and with many being contaminated with commercial “weed and feed” products, grass cannot be added to our compost mix. Waste management will accept bagged grass clippings on regular refuse day. In addition, any leaves that are dropped off MUST BE removed from plastic bags and bags must be taken. Limbs, logs or tree stumps larger than 6 inches in diameter are NOT PERMITTED to be dropped off at the compost site.
No. Every dumpster located on the municipal grounds is for the use of township personnel only. Security cameras located in that area will record any unauthorized use of those dumpsters. You will be contacted to pickup those items and charged for any time taken by township personnel to remove the items from the dumpsters.
Every residence in the township is required to have trash service with Waste Management, the unlimited or per bag option. There is no reason for anyone to bring trash or any other items accepted by Waste Management to the township dumpsters when they are picked up at your door as part of your trash service.
