Recycling

under a municipal waste and recycling contract currently provides recycling collection to residents of Harborcreek Township.

New residents of Harborcreek can visit the township building at 5601 Buffalo Road weekdays from 8:00am to 4:30pm to receive their free 25 gallon recycling bin, instruction sheet and collection schedule by day-of-the-week / street.
We also have available for sale a 65 gallon recycle bin toter for $45.00.

Collection of Recyclable Materials by Waste Management
Recyclables are collected weekly on your regularly scheduled trash collection day. For more information on what is considered acceptable or unacceptable recyclables (glass, etc.), read the instruction poster. See below for glass recycling.
No automobile parts will be accepted for curbside pickup. For example: mufflers, disk brakes, and exhaust manifolds are hazardous materials and cannot be put out in the trash.

Drop-off your Recyclable Glass

We have partnered with as a drop-off location. Glass can be brought to the northeast corner of the municipal garage parking lot behind the municipal building. You DO NOT need to be a resident of Harborcreek to use this service! Visit for list of acceptable glass items. You can also click/tap the graphic below.

Erie County Recycling Program
The Erie County Recycling Program sponsors Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection events, operated by Noble Environmental Specialty Recycling. Recycle at Community Events
Members of the Community come together to enjoy local events, but in the process a large amount of waste is generated, much of it is recyclable. Lets all do our part & recycle!!
